Safety recommendations of published Investigation Reports

On the occasion of marine casualties the Federal Bureau of Maritime Casualty Investigation publishes safety recommendations. After completion of the investigation these safety recommendations are published together with the investigation report. The investigation reports corresponding to the marine casualties are listed under the item Publications > Investigation Report.

Safety Recommendations of current investigations

In addition the Federal Bureau of Maritime Casualty Investigation can publish safety recommendations during a current investigation under the terms of § 9 para. 2 No. 2, § 15 para. 1 and 10 Maritime Safety Investigation Law (SUG) of 16 June 2002 in conjunction with § 19 Law Relating to the Investigation into Accidents and Incidents Associated with the Operation of Civil Aircraft, dated August 26^th, 1998.
